b May 9 1793, Orangeburg District, SC. d sep 11 1871, Jones Co MS.  
m 1st Elmira Overstreet. b c 1810 GA, dau of Braswell and Sarah Overstreet.  
They resided in Jones Co Ms.  She died before 1870.  

John m 2nd Mrs. Pernesia Hembre.  She had two kids, Eliza Hembre, 
b c 1848, and Sarah Hembre, b c 1852.  residing in Ellisville, Jones Co 
Ms in 1870.  John was a Methodist Preacher for about forty years.

Daniel and Susannah ( Graham ) Pate. Zachariah moved to Texas and bought 
land in Leon Co Texas in 1859.  Joined the Confederate Army may 6 1862, 
Waul's Texas Legion, Centerville, Leon co.  Legion was in Vicksburg Ms in 
Sep and he d Oct 6 1862 at City Hospital (Duff Green Mansion). 
Buried in Potter's Field.
